A Psychologist can assist in understanding, preventing and treating developmental, cognitive, social and emotional difficulties. A Psychologist may assist to develop skills in the following areas: Anxiety, Coping Skills and Behaviour Management.
A psychologist can support the individual during the different stages of an individual's development and chronological age and develop a program to reflect these. The psychologist can work directly with the individual and their family or provide information and strategies and support you implement these.
Therapy sessions may be purchased through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or as a tailored support package.
