April is a month that shines a national light on the autism spectrum - a month dedicated to standing tall for autism and spreading autism awareness, understanding, acceptance and inclusion.
Many Autism Friendly Charter businesses are joining Autism SA in spreading awareness, understanding, acceptance and inclusion by partnering with us to provide autism friendly sessions to the community. Check out the upcoming events below:

Ride for Awareness
Bikers from across South Australia will set off from Autism SA’s Netley office on Saturday 20 April for the fourth annual 2019 Autism Ride for Awareness. The fantastic group of bike fanatics, autism families and supporters will ride their way through Adelaide in a sea of purple, highlighting the importance of acceptance and inclusion – all while raising funds for Autism SA. More information and updates on Ride for Awareness will be shared on this page in the lead up to the event.
Hard working and passionate Westpac employee, Songul Modra (Lockleys branch), has held internal fundraising activities throughout the month of April for Autism SA over the last two years- striving to increase acceptance and inclusion in her workplace. Songul will once again be kicking fundraising goals and working hard to raise funds, and awareness, understanding, acceptance and inclusion throughout April. Thank you to the crew at Westpac for your support!
AGOSCI SA April ACC Picnic
AGOSCI inc. invites you to enjoy a picnic on Saturday 6 April from 11am-2pm at Bonython Park, Tuyla Wardli (Park 27) playspace.
The event is free - just bring your AAC system, a plate to share and a chair!

Frizzo Cafe BBQ Fundraiser
Come along to Frizzo Cafe on Saturday 27 April from 11.30am-4pm for a yummy BBQ fundraiser.
There will be a Face Painting and Balloon Artist, a sausage sizzle and a raffle with awesome prizes!

8th Annual Strong Aboriginal Childrens Expo
Visit Autism SA at the 8th Annual Strong Aboriginal Children’s Health Expo!
The free expo is brought to the community by DeadlyKidsSA (Department for Health and Wellbeing) in partnership with Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Service, Nunkuwarrin Yunti and Aboriginal Family Support Services.
Families are encouraged to come along for a day of healthy activities and information in a fun environment. Autism SA will be there on the day with fun games, giveaways and information on supports and services available to the community.
