Once again Team Autism SA’s runners proudly donned their running shoes to participate in the 45th Adelaide City to Bay Fun Run and, in the process, raising money and awareness for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Team Autism SA had close to 100 amazing participants running and walking under the Autism SA banner. Our participants, made up of staff, volunteers, members of the autism community, and a large contingent from our long-time supporter Steggles, joined the 26,000 strong crowd to participate in the City-Bay.
All members of the team were welcomed and thanked by Autism SA CEO Jenny Karavolos. “It’s fantastic to see everyone coming together to raise awareness of autism and to help promote inclusion in the community” said Jenny.
The runners were treated to a free delicious BBQ breakfast at the finish line, generously donated by Steggles, expertly cooked by Autism SA’s Chair, Troy Mohler.
What a team effort! Thank you to all that participated, helping to raise awareness of autism.
