Autism SA is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Occupational Therapist -- Several Positions Available Full Time
Autism SA is seeking the following position to join the Early Development Program. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with families and children under the age of six with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
FTE Salary Package ranging from $48,644 to $56,193 plus leave loading and superannuation. This position under the guidance and collaboration with a Senior Occupational Therapist is responsible to contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating a range a assessments and services. The position will include working at our Foundation Skills Group (based at Salisbury East) as well as providing individual therapy in conjunction with family consultation. Working with children with sensory processing difficulties is desirable.

Casual Support Staff
Autism SA maintains a pool of casual staff to work within various programs providing support to individuals with challenging behaviours and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a variety of settings. If you are interested in this area of work with Autism SA, your first step would be to complete an application form available here and print it out.

The information session will provide you with a more detailed overview of what the casual support worker may consist of so you can assess if you are ready to apply. Attendance at the information session and submission of your application form is not a guarantee that you will be offered an interview or a position in the casual pool or with Autism SA.
After attending the information session and submitting your application form, potential candidates will be contacted and invited to attend a formal interview on one of these dates:

The interview panel will discuss with you your qualifications, motivation and understanding, and you will be able to ask any further questions not answered at the information session.
After the interview and on the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check, successful candidates are contacted and will then undergo an orientation process which may include mandatory training so the employment process can begin. Unsuccessful candidates are also notified and may request feedback if desired. They are also invited to re-apply in the future.
