Every child has a wonderful story to tell, Children with disabilities are no different
Our favourite stories are those made up of great characters; their personalities, adventures, discoveries, loves and challenges.
Imagine then, a book all about your child...What would their story be?
The ‘What I’d like you to know about me!’ resource - created by Life’s for Living Inc. – allows children and their families to share their child’s story in a way that has never been possible before.
These unique stories – easily created on the innovative www.aboutme.org.au website – are then shared with support workers, family members or other health and education professionals to give an insight into the best way to support the child and develop positive relationships.
Pages are created under topics such as ‘My World’, ‘Skills & Abilities’ and ‘This is What You Need to Know to Support Me’. These pages then become a printable book which reveals the child’s likes/dislikes, dreams, support needs, milestones and abilities.
