The Good Guys Doing Good

Living up to their name, Cathie Peters and The Good Guys Noarlunga recently selected Autism SA to be their partner in a unique national community relations program.

The Good Guys National Cause Program, which was launched in South Australia in March 2007, sees each of the 75 stores across Australia partnered with local community organisations. The aim of the program is to help raise funds and support for a local charity within their local area. The program has already raised more than $700,000 nationally and is expected to generate more then $750,000 over 12 months.

As part of the program, The Good Guys Noarlunga will donate 20 cents per transaction, and hopes to raise over $6,000 in a 12 month period. More than $2,783 has already been raised for Autism SA and will help fund a new cubby house and play equipment for the backyard playground area of the Southern Variety Respite House.

Cathie Peters and her staff are looking forward to working with the Autism SA community to raise funds and increase their profile in the local community. You too can help support Autism SA by simply visiting The Good Guys Noarlunga and making a further donation.
