Sold! Autism SA says goodbye to Fisher Street
Late November 2007 saw Autism SA finalising the sale of 3 Fisher St, Myrtle Bank. This opens an exciting new chapter for the Autism SA family.
For more than 30 years, Autism SA was located at 3 Fisher St, Myrtle Bank. As the organisation has grown, so too has the need to relocate to a bigger premises so that we can continue to meet the needs of our clients and their families.
Autism SA’s new home at 262 Marion Road, Netley, is in its final stages of a six month fit out project. Autism SA will continue to actively seek donations and sponsorship to help cover these costs. The exciting new Family Centre will better service the needs of our clients and their families with the inclusion of an Information and Resource Centre and Counselling, Assessment, Training and Support Centres. The centrally located base will be ideal for parents to network and facilitate parent-to-parent models of support. The new Autism SA Family Centre will also enable collaborative partnerships and service responses.
As staff begin to prepare for the big move, we do ask that our clients families and friends of Autism SA are understanding of any interruptions to services that may occur.
