Barossa Autism Awareness Team (BAAT)
The BAAT has been up and running for over a year now and has been a real success story. Congratulations to all the parents who have worked so hard over this time. The BAAT has worked tirelessly to raise funds for social development groups in the Barossa region. Their activities have included raffles, a dinner dance, awareness days and street parades. Special thanks to Wendy Marschall, Julie Urry and Tracey Kibblewhite for being the driving force of the group. Thanks also to the Faith Lutheran School and the Truro Hotel Social Club for recent major gifts to the BAAT. A big thank you to the Blues Social Club of the Nuriootpa Police Station who recently donated $9,000 for the social development groups in the region.
