Vive la Difference: Sexuality and the Autism Spectrum
Autism SA is delighted to announce this two day workshop by Dr Isabelle Hénault MA PhD. She has a master’s degree in sexology and a doctorate of psychology from the Quebec University in Montreal.
Dr Hénault has developed a relationships and sex education program, and works with individuals and groups to increase their understanding of sexuality, and conducts relationship counselling. Dr Hénault is currently residing in Australia and working out of the specialist “Hearts and Minds” Clinic with Professor Tony Attwood and other professionals in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr Hénault is the author of “Asperger’s Syndrome and Sexuality: From Adolescence through Adulthood”, published by Jessica Kingsley Publisher, UK. The Workshop “Sexuality and the Autism Spectrum” will benefit couples and people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their parents and carers as well as professionals in the field.
