Country & Outreach Services
Autism SA is aware of 637 children aged under 18 years living in country regions of South Australia. We have endeavoured to meet the challenge of delivering services to these regions but changes to the model of funding for School Age and Early Intervention funding has led to changes in the way services have been delivered to the country and outreach regions of South Australia for the remainder of this financial year.
Services that can be accessed at present, dependent on eligibility, include:
· Regional Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
· Autism Advisor Program
· Early Days Workshops
· Fee for Service Training and Consultancy
· Video conferencing and telephone consultancy
· Info Line
Autism SA is reviewing these services and we are aware that there is great demand. We appreciate your patience as we plan to ensure that services to country regions are increased in the future.
