Secretin

A hormone, originally used in diagnosing gastrointestinal disorders, that is claimed to decrease some of the behaviours associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is given by infusion, nasal spray or in a transdermal preparation. Some children were found to improve, but its benefits have not yet been substantiated in clinical trials.
