Daily Life Therapy
Daily Life Therapy was founded by the late
Dr Kiyo Kithara in Tokyo, Japan and is the basis for an
education system called Higashi. Higashi schools incorporate
an intensive physical education component and sensory integration
principles, as well as addressing the individual academic
needs of the students with autism. The Higashi schools offer
residential programs. There are Higashi schools in Tokyo,
Japan and Boston, USA.
