Biomedical Interventions
Biomedical interventions are based on the
theory that the body is out of balance often resulting in
gastrointestinal symptoms. Suggested environmental causes
are the effects of vaccination, mercury poisoning, overuse
of antibiotics, or the lack of certain vitamin and minerals.
These theories are considered controversial by the many
medical practitioners. Biomedical treatments include supplements
of vitamins and minerals, gluten / casein free diets, eliminating
food allergies and detoxification.
