Therapies & Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism SA offers this list as a starting point for parents making their own decisions about therapies, treatments and interventions. It is not exhaustive. We suggest that before embarking on a therapy the benefits and negative aspects are carefully weighed up. There is a lot of information on the internet and much of it should be treated with caution. "Five criteria for evaluating web page" http://www.library.cornell.edu/olinuris/ref/research/webcrit.html has some pointers to evaluating information that you find on the internet.
