What are School Holiday Programs?
School holiday programs at Autism SA are where children aged 3-18 are supported to engage in activities that can help with the development of life skills, social and communication skills and friendships.
Have fun and make new friends while developing a range of life, social and communication skills.
A variety of different programs are delivered each school holidays. Read below to learn more about the community-based and therapeutic programs coming up next.
Therapeutic programs
Autism SA’s therapeutic school holiday programs are smaller groups delivered by Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists at a range of times and locations.
Aqua Skills Group (3-8 years)
Dive into this school holidays with Autism SA’s Aqua Skills Group.
Autism SA’s Aqua Skills Group is a fun and skill-building group program focusing on water familiarisation, mobility and water safety.
Supported by Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, participants also have the opportunity develop their communication, language and play whilst learning valuable aqua skills. The friendly group environment fosters a safe place for participants connect with peers and grow their social skills.
This program is offered at Paragon Swim Centre Modbury and ProSwim Plympton Park.

Build social skills and awesome LEGO® creations with Autism SA’s LEGO® Club.
Autism SA’s LEGO® is a group-based program supporting participants to develop skills whilst building LEGO® creations.
Formed by the principles of LEGO®-Based Therapy participants are involved with structured play which involves working as a team and following visual instructions to complete a LEGO® creation.
Supported by Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, participants have the opportunity develop their social, problem-solving and fine motor skills in a friendly group environment.
This program is offered from Autism SA’s Elizabeth and Tonsley locations.

Autism SA is accredited and registered as a provider through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This means that you can pay for services at Autism SA with your NDIS funding, or you may pay yourself, through fee for service.
